Hello

I have been working at Kidzone Afterschool Academy since 2016. I started as a summer teacher, and then was blessed with the opportunity to take over the role as director in 2019. I am passionate about teaching children how recklessly they are loved by the God who created them. I believe there is nothing better than the sound of a child’s laughter, a missing tooth grin, and tiny hugs from tiny humans. 

 

My favorite thing to do in my free time is anything outdoors with my family. God has blessed me with an amazing husband, Auston, and our four beautiful kids. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:4- "I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears."  This verse brought me comfort and peace in praying for our rainbow baby, Noa, to stay healthy throughout our pregnancy after a miscarriage. 

 

I am thrilled that God chose me to play a small role in the lives of the children who walk into the doors of our church. I feel truly blessed to have a job that I love and I am excited to get to come to everyday!
